I build growth for online properties - typically beyond the expectations that are provided to me. I have worked with all aspects of building an online presence and creating revenue from digital platforms from, websites, mobile applications, widgets, and social media sites/tools. I have accurately forecasted industry trends, consumer interests and behaviors and produced results for both Fortune 100 and entrepreneurial companies to build their brands, exceed revenue projections and maximize ROI performance with their digital properties.

  • Created a landing page process that generated more than 1,000,000 opt-in newsletter sign ups in first year of operation and led to a substantial new revenue channel at up to 300% better than goal.

  • Turned a seven figure cost center into a seven figure profit center during the dot com bust

  • Negotiated and purchased several million dollars in online ad and radio campaigns creating ROIs exceeding 500% of targeted goals

  • Brought to market the first mobile celebrity media content applications

  • Created the most active online female fitness community and country music communities at shape.com and countryweekly.com

  • Built an online radio station/podcast site that achieved more than 100,000 average monthly podcasts downloads in its first year of programming.

  • Designed multiple loyalty programs that helped to cut the time to next sale by 200% and increase the value of each sale by 36%.
  • With SEO initiatives, key terms continue to be placed in top 1-3 page results on google, yahoo and bing for a variety of sites and segments...

Will Ackerman - The Grammy winning founder of Windham Hill Records and a wonderful New Age Musician whose albums have been birthday presents for as long as I can remember because my friends think it's funny.

Will Ackerman - My doppelganger at Hachette Filipacchi... Will at Hachette, is the Internet Technical& Development Manager. Pretty strange right? Two of the largest publishing companies in the world, each had their very own William Ackerman in the New Media divisions at the same time.
